Gelato in Sydney

Pagi ini kita me-remix rambut dengan cat semprot yang kita bawa dari Jakarta, rencana sih tiga warna, apa daya yang warna hijau norak gak bisa 'nyemprot, jadilah pakai warna biru dan merah. Alhasil rambut norak plus kaku demi nonton Coldplay.

Jam 10 pagi kita jalan2 menuju tempat berkumpul sama teman2 Lydia yang lain. Tepatnya di daerah Surry Hills. Dalam perjalanan kita mampir ke Messina Gelato - ice cream shop yang ada di 328 Crown St. Memang ini tempat gak pernah sepi, ada aja yang beli. Sempat cobain dua scope ice cream rasa dark chocolate and green tea.

  • Poached Figs in Marsala (A)(E) – baby figs poached in Marsala (a fortified Italian cooking wine)
  • Salted Caramel and White Chocolate – salted caramel gelato with white chocolate chip (our biggest seller!)
  • Strawberries and Cream (E) – Strawberry and vanilla gelato with strawberry jam
  • Tiramisu (G)(A)(E) – egg, marsala and mascarpone gelato with lady finger biscuits soaked in espresso coffee.
  • Vanilla (E) – made from fresh Jersey Milk
  • Pannacotta with Fig Jam and Amaretti Biscuit (G)(N)(E) – pannacotta gelato base.
  • Yoghurt & Berry – yoghurt gelato with poached raspberry and blueberry coulee

Seger memang ya siang-siang panas begini 'ngemut ice cream, maklum, suhu hari itu 30 derajat di Sydney. Perjalanan siang ini cukup merepotkan rambut, udah panas, cat luntur, plus muka berminyak. Belom sampai stadion Allianz sudah belepotan nih. haha...
